ANNE JONES
Heart Bandits is an all volunteer organization which rescues
homeless American Eskimo Dogs and finds qualified, permanent,
adoptive homes for them. The dogs are rescued from animal shelters,
humane societies, concerned citizens who have found stray or
abandoned dogs, situations of neglect and/or cruelty. Heart Bandits
assists in finding new homes for American Eskimo Dogs whose owners
can no longer give their Eskies a home for any of various reasons.
Our foster homes and all members of our staff volunteer their
time and effort. Heart Bandits chapters are funded entirely through
membership fees, adoption fees, donations and the generosity
of our chapter directors and members.
All adoptive homes must complete an adoption application prior to being considered to adopt a Heart Bandit dog. Each application is screened. We will interview both you and your veterinarian. Based on the gathered information, we will attempt to match you with an appropriate dog for your situation and near your location. An adoption fee will be charged based on the average cost of veterinary services in the area.
Why the name Heart Bandits? Because given the smallest chance to do so, an Eskie will steal your heart!
