Giving Life a Second Chance

This auction was held for Buddy, Cookie, and Sandy. Buddy was used as a sparring partner with a Pit Bull, and though he survived, he suffered permanent brain damage. Buddy is now a Bridgekid and he was faithfully loved by his family after being adopted! He is being honored in this auction, but he and his family want everyone to be more aware of these horrible "Dog fights" that needlessly occur! More awareness can help bring an end to these, and allow more dogs to live lives full of the love they all rightly deserve to know! Cookie, whom you may remember from a recent raffle fundraiser, has needed some more surgery, and so was in need of help once again. Sandy, who Kitten Jones has been taking care of had some remaining bills to pay off, so we joined together once again to help those who need it. We are supporting those who help others as well as honoring the spirit of those who have done so for these wonderful eskies! Please read their stories by clicking on their pictures/names above! Auction Details- April/May 2000

This month's fundraiser features 3 precious Eskies; one unfortunately is a BridgeKid now. This auction will be called...Buddy & Pals! This month's dire need dog Cookie has a "brother" Eskie BridgeKid named Buddy also!! Cookie's Buddy is not the same Buddy as in Buddy & Pals!

We have some packages that are not Eskie-related! Be sure to look at all the packages. We have a couple wish list items! Did you ask for them? If you have a wish item, let me know. I will do my best to find the special item you are searching for. It does NOT have to be an Eskie. We honor all requests….even cats!

"In remembrance of Buddy". Buddy was used as a sparring partner for a Pit Bull in NYC! We are dedicating this auction to him. Although he survived the fight, the head wounds caused damage to his brain that he could not overcome. He was adopted after the fight and IS loved VERY much! Be sure to read his story! Very sad! Buddy's loving family is NOT asking any money be reimbursed. They want his story told, in "Memory Of Buddy".

Remember Sandy? Sandy's bill to-date total $421 and Sandy's raffle brought in $350. We need $71to pay off Sandy's bill…the "Golden Age" furgirl that laid on the shelter's concrete floor for days with a BADLY shattered leg. Sandy was rescued by "Kitten" Jones. Sandy had given up on herself and was literally knocking at Heaven's Door" a few times. Thanks to Kitten, Sandy has "the look" again and the will to live.

Remember Cookie? We held a raffle for her in Dec. The "Cookie Monster" is shaved again..for another emergency operation . I bet Cookie is steaming hot! Being shaved again? She got so embarrassed when they shaved her belly the first time. She has the spunk of an Eskie and will get over it! Don't miss her story. She must have some cat blood in her, seems like she is on her 3rd life! Just gotta love her! This is one very cute determined furgirl.

This money raised from this raffle will be distributed as follows. 100% of the money goes to the dire need dogs. Even the shipping costs are donated.

1. Buddy $000 (no money requested, but held in Buddy's honor!)
2. Sandy $71
3. Cookie $700

For a total of $771 as our "goal". Please help all you can with your bids!

This auction will run till May 10th. All bids MUST be SENT by 10:00 PM (Eastern Time) on May 10th. The winners' list will be posted the following evening. If you are not familiar with the rules, please take a moment to read them at the Rules Page!
