The "Eskie on an Igloo" figurine. A beautiful and very life-like sculpture. The base measures 8 ¼" x 8", height is 8 ½ " high, the dog himself measures 5 ¾" long. This piece depicts a handsome Eskie caught in a dog's life moment as he sits atop an Igloo. A special Edition Figurine. This is no little figurine! Good size and simply B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!! Each comes with a gold tone neck chain and a tag that says "My Dog". A wonderful true-to-nature rendering in a long lasting stone resin. A previous auction winner, Valerie Wheeler, says of this figurine: Even though there is a good picture and a wonderful description on the auction web site, this figurine far exceeded my expectations. It is larger and more substantial than I was picturing, and the detailing is incredible. You can see every strand of hair on the Eskie, and the face is even more adorable than it appears in the picture. Every block of "ice" used to "build" the igloo can be clearly seen, and the bone in the dog bowl is totally adorable. The icing on the cake is the realistic-looking snow unevenly "piled" around the base of the igloo; the pawprints in the snow leading to the entrance are so cute. This is great for calling long distance. For the kids away at college, people on vacation, at dogs shows, even just to carry with in case of emergency, etc. It expires August 2001—a whole year from now!! I don’t know anyone that CAN’T use this….except for our four-legged friends(of course, if they get the order line to their favorite pet catalog....who knows!!!)!

I love this design! Colorful collection of sayings about dogs in litho. Double matted and ready for an 1" x 14" frame. The artist dedicates this to her first dog "punky" which judging from all of the little drawings in the border of the litho was an Eskie. (pardon the "lighting" in the image....just the "flash" effect!)
