Briefly though, this auction was held to raise money to help Kaiser who recently had surgery to correct a defect which would allow his body to digest food, so he was starving to death. Donated by: Mercedes Herndon Mercedes Herndon (<mrrhent@aol.com> who isn't even an Eskie owner, but is an Eskie "Auntie") owns "Just for You Custom Cards by Mercedes". This set of 24 Custom Christmas cards comes complete with envelopes and matching address labels. If you are the winning bidder, you can feature your Eskie, or any other photo you would like (within reason <g>), on your cards this year. The cards will be on high quality stock and the inside can be also customized with your choice of verse and signature. I must say this donation sounds great! Eskie bowl--Opening bid: $18 Donated by Jill Boardman, Kaiser's Mom This beautiul white ceramic food bowl is 7" in diameter with an American Eskimo at the bottom of the bowl. You know how your doggie "walks" all over you? Well, he's been walking on the outside of this bowl too. It has doggie prints.

The Carrot + 2 Toy Package --Opening bid: $15 Donated by Jill Boardman, Kaiser's Mom The fuzzy carrot is approx. 6" in height and has a squeaker. Kaiser has one and carries it all over the house. Second toy is a plush 6 point jack with ball shapes on the points. Each point has a sqeaker. Last is an all natural sheep skin with tough leather back and soft fleecy wool front. This one has no squeaker.

Eskie Stationery Notecards --Opening bid $10 Donated by Amanda Rigsby Notecard set includes 10 stationary notecards with envelopes. The Eskie is a black and white sketch done by Earl Sherwan. (note: image on left shows "scan" blotches in the hatching effect...actual cards are much clearer---you can see the "clearer" effect in the "thumbnail" below!

Eskie picture frame --Opening bid $14 Donated by Gizmo, the GA to PA furboy, and his new sister Whitney and their Mom Sandy London from PA. A cute Eskie Picture frame, size 5" x 7", has a bowl, collar, 1st place ribbon with bones, pawprints and a trophy on it. Also has the 2 infamous Eskies.

Eskie Pebble Pin--Opening bid $12 Donated by Gizmo, the GA to PA furboy, and his new sister Whitney and their Mom Sandy London. For you lovely ladies......A pretty unique miniature reproduction of one of over 500 different Sue Connelly paintings. This Eskie is decoupaged onto a small beach pebble. Each piece is handmade and then triple- laminated for permanence. Sue collects the stones from the shores of the Canadian Great lakes. They are carefully chosen for their size, shape and thickness.

Bears Welcome Sign --Opening bid $30 Donated by "Angel" La Barre, the Angel helped by our last auction. She is doing great! Better than ever! The bears are 15" at the widest point, 11 1/2" long and 1/4" thick, made of mahogany plywood. The red ribbons are connected to both bears so they can be hung up.

Fast Tag and Key Chain Package --Opening bid $15 Donated by Dotti Emadi FastTags are the tags you can make at home. Perfect for the new doggie in the house while you wait for the metal tags to arrive from the manufacturer. Eskie Christmas Stocking --Opening bid $25 Donated by Laurie Bame in Honor of her fosters, Juliet and the 5 beautiful furgirl puppies. This beautiful Christmas Stocking is a soft cotton canvas material, 14" tall x 7" wide. The Eskie is 7" tall x 6" wide and painted with fabric paints. The original Scoo-Pup was manufactured in Ripon, WI and still is in production to this day though on a much smaller scale as the business was sold to a woman who just has it as a "toy"...ah, the rich and their toys! "Spitz" Dog logo Watch --Opening bid $10 Donated by Carol Innerst   This neat ladies watch is water resistant, has quartz movement in a goldtone case and comes with a genuine leather band. It is new and the face of the watch is approx 7/8" in diameter and the band is approx. 8" long. Also included are pretty mini Eskie post earrings and 7 adorable magnets with Eskies on them. Heavenly Massage --Opening bid $15 Donated by Star (and her Hubby) If you live close to Downers Grove IL, this is for you. One hour of massage with Michael McAleese at The Holistic Massage & Reflexology Center at 1040 Odgen Avenue. This massage is for humans, not for the Eskies (although how could Michael say no to a fuzzy white angel?). (note...NOT the same Michael as UnkleMunky)

Fleece Dog Booties --Opening Bid: $5 -Donated by Michael(UnkleMunky) Ever wanted to try booties for your dog? Well...now's your chance! Arctic Fleece boots are warm, comfortable lightweight fleece material. Protects paws from ice, salt, snow, and dirt. Non-skid sole with velcro band for secure fit. Machine Washable. Contains four boots(only one pictured at left!). These are size M(edium) and the chart on the package notes that M(ediums) are for dogs 31-40 lbs, so maybe a little big for some eskies, but if you've got a large eskie or another larger dog, these might be a cool fashion statement for the classy canine! Booties are "black"...scan is a little "light", but they are new in the package and ready to use!

The Treat Ball & Poster Package --Opening bid $15 Donated by Mike, Carmen, Kona & Kiko Package includes a motivational poster, a Roll-A-Treat (Treat Dispensing Ball for Dogs), a cute Minty Acres Broccoli toy (Kona & Kiko went insane when I took this out to photograph :-) & 2 Burgham Premium Stainless Steel 24 oz. bowls. The bowls have a beautiful design on the outside that the photo does not do justice to. All items are brand new.

Doggie Holiday Bandanas --Opening bid $8 Donated by Star and Pooka Two beautiful bandanas made just for the doggies or if you wish, a small one for the dog and a matching large one for you. The triangular bandanas can be holiday prints, animal prints, like the ones in the pix, etc. You tell us the print wanted and we will custom make it for you. A great Christmas present. 2 Classy Mugs --Opening bid $12 Donated by Nancy, Lacey, Shanney & Dancer Buying these mugs helped animals, and these mugs continue to help dogs in need. Two clear blue classy mugs, with an Angel holding a cat and a dog sitting at her feet and the words "Angels For Animals" on the front. Back says "Kill the crisis, Not the Animals....Spay & Neuter". Lettering and the angel is done in classy soft white lettering. A double winner for the Animals.

(Personal note from me (Pat): This and 3 other packages are donated by this special lady. How many people are willing to adopt a 9 and 10 yr old Eskie? Unfortunately, Nickie, 9 yrs old, became a BridgeKid while under fostercare. Hobbes, 10 yrs old, will soon be taking an across the US tour, from NC to CA. About the SunCatchers: Brand new!!
