Send an Entry for the Contest
Though we are considering offering some online form submission methods for entries in the future, our old standby of "email" will continue to be the method for sending entries for the time being.
Please read the "Current" contest details for the contest you are interested in entering, and don't neglect to give the "rules" page a read. Basically, there isn't a lot to this, but we do need things to be somewhat orderly. Make sure you send in your entry NO LATER than the deadline set for that contest! You may use the "email" button on most any of our pages, OR you may enter the address manually, by sending your entry to pages@eskie.net. PLEASE note in your "subject" line that the email is for the "eskie contest".
Please send PLAIN TEXT entries if at all possible. DO NOT send a "forwarded note"! We have had entries in various forms, including Word Processor documents sent as attachments, and even HTMLs. We'll make every attempt to "decipher" any entries, but cannot guarantee that we can read every format. So, if in doubt, a plain text email entry is best. We take the "content" of the entry into main consideration...format is NOT a determining factor!
If you have questions pertaining to any contest or entry, please contact us via email prior to the deadline for the contest, so we can hopefully get back to you in time!
We have been trying to send a "reply" to each email entry, mostly so that if you send an entry, that you know it got to us! Sometimes things just seem to disappear in cyberspace without a trace, and we figured it is nice to let you know that we at least got the entry. We'll let you know if we need further information or if the entry seems fine with this reply. We do NOT guarantee that we can send a reply to every entry, but we will attempt this as much as is humanly possible. If you have NOT received a "got your entry reply" within 24 hours of submission, please feel free to write again just to check in with us. This "reply" is merely a courtesy, and not guaranteed.
Well...do enjoy the contests! The more and better entries we receive the better the contests will be! Doesn't cost you much to enter, so do join us for the fun!
