First, our "prize" is Dog Dish Stand. This is a "basic" stand as offered by us at Eskie Pages. For further details on these dish stands, you can see the product page we have setup. However, basically, as you can see in the image below, this is a wooden(no stain or varnish finish) dish stand. It includes 4(2 of each) dishes with the stand. Stand size is 16" long, 8" wide(deep), and 8" high. There is a spot for one 1 quart dish, and one spot for one 1 pint size dish. We include TWO of each size dish, and they are stainless steel. Well taken care of, this unit should last for many, many years! Again, for further details, you can see the product page we have setup. We are offering 1 dish stand as a prize(including the 4 dishes), and this will include shipping to prize winner!

OK....for our Featured Donation, we are offering our monthly tidbit($10 from us) to Therapy Dogs International! Therapy Dogs International, Inc. (TDI) is a volunteer group organized to provide qualified handlers and their Therapy Dogs for visitations to institutions, facilities, and any other place where Therapy Dogs are needed.

TDI is a non-profit organization. There is no charge for visitations. All funds are derived from associate membership dues. Donations or bequests are welcome.

The primary objective of the TDI dog and handler is to provide comfort and companionship by sharing the dog with the patients in hospitals, nursing homes and other institutions and wherever else the Therapy Dog is needed. This is done in a way that increases emotional well being, promotes healing, and improves the quality of life for the people being visited and the staff that cares for these people

All right....'bout time we get to what the contest was! This month's "theme" was "Eskie Movie Stars". Yes...all your platinum blondes out there got the spotlight this month(and we mean the FOUR legged ones!!!)! Simply put, "if your eskie were a movie star, who would they be?" Cary Grant, Mel Gibson, Julia Roberts, Judy Garland, Buster Keaton, or just who would your eskie be if they were a movie star? Though it would be hard to say for sure, Kathrine Hepburn, from her early days comes to mind when thinking of Shelby....she was one class act!!! However....who would YOUR eskie be? Tell who and even better...tell us WHY you think so! We'd love to know who your little stars and starlets are!!! This is what we wanted to know, so we wanted you to tell us all about who your platinum blonde would be if they were a movie star! We had a number of good entries, but settled on Dotti's entry below as our winner. It was short and simple, but definitely made us smile. Enjoy:

My Eskie Cane would be Sean Connery..in control of all situations, able to please, able to dazzle, a definate ladies man, easy on the eyes at any age, and has that special crooked grin.

And, Dotti was able to get us a picture(though a bit dark) of Cane....and, yes....there does seem to be a bit of Connery in ol' Cane! Kinda neat, eh! Well...thanks to everyone for their involvement! Take care.....
