Rules of the Eskie Contest
1. Contests will end at 11:59 PM (Central Time) at the end of the noted day(see Current Contest page for dates). So, be sure to send your entry by then. Note that it is for the Eskie Contest in your "subject" line, please!
2. Though we do not exclude past winners from winning again, we will most likely lean a bias for choosing someone new as a winner.
3. Though we do not exclude a non-eskie owner from entering OR from even winning, we highly encourage you to be an eskie owner.....it just isn't the same otherwise!
4. Michael(UnkleMunky), Eskie Pages, and anyone directly involved with running the contest is NOT eligible to enter OR win the prizes! This includes anyone who is donating a prize for a current contest, but does NOT exclude them from OTHER contests. Those offering a "donation" only are eligible for the contest.
5. "Donations" made are NOT tax deductible at this time. We are just sending the donations out of our own pockets thus far!
6. Since one person, Michael(UnkleMunky), is responsible for choosing the winner, we cannot guarantee objectivity. Michael will most likely choose a winner based on creativity. Begging does no good, but go on....make it as good as you can......impress us!!!!
7. Winning entries will be posted to THIS site, and will be remain posted in the past contests archive! Other entries we deem worthy of posting may also be included in the month's results! Results will be posted within a few days of the end of the contest(vague enough for you?)!!!
8. Photos are always welcome, and we reserve the right to post them to the contest site, especially if sent by the winner. By sending us photos, you are granting us the right to post them to the contest site(though you retain all other rights to them).
9. Past contests and winners will remain posted to this site via the appropriate link.
10. By sending us an "entry" to the contest, you are agreeing to ALL of these rules at the time of the contest.
11. By sending us an "entry" to the contest, you are granting us the right to print any and all entries we choose to our contest page, for recent and past postings, including archived postings. ALL other rights remain yours.
12. As this contest is mostly run by one person, we need to add that though all attempts are made to fulfill each and every contest offering, we are not exempt from acts of God that might hinder that ability. This includes, but is not limited to, death or serious illness of the operator(s) of the contest, or other such impairments that might keep us from continuing the contest. In such cases, the contest would merely be cancelled....we can't do much about those things, folks! Also, in the case of acts of God that interrupt a contest, we reserve the right to postpone any particular contest or rerun it at a later time. Such instances might include, but are not limited to, our computer being disabled due to lightning(this HAS happened to us, so we know it's not fun!), fire, tornado, or other such events. We will make every attempt to keep everyone notified of any such occurences, but we just want you to know that there might be some things that keep us from fulfilling our intentions of this contest! Other than such serious events as these, the "show will go on...."!
13. These rules are subject to future ammendment, and may be changed at anytime...even during a contest.
