American Eskimo Dog Email Lists

Email "mailing lists" are groups of people with a common interest who have joined together to discuss their common topic. Topical discussions, questions, answers, etc. are the focus of lists, and the email "medium" is merely the method that this is communicated through. To be on a list, you must "join" the list. Once you have joined, you will receive mail from this list. You can also post to the list, or respond to other postings, either to the individual or the entire list, depending on how you "reply" in your mail program. Some of these lists have "rules", while others are more "freeform". Some are heavy volume, while others are lighter in volume. We are merely providing here a simple listing of all the related lists we know about, as well as some information on each.

Instructions on how to join are included in each listing. Click on any "links" to goto the page where you can either join or learn more about the particular list. It is certainly possible to belong to more than one list at a time. It is also possible to join/unjoin a list as an individual has time as well. Some lists are also available in "digest" form. Thus, instead of getting each note separately, an entire day's notes are compiled into a single large note and sent one per day.

Eskie Owners Email list: This is the first, and original, email list devoted to the AED. This is a general list and most things "eskie" are discussed on this list. This can be a high volume(50-100 notes a day sometimes) list, so bear this in mind. List administrator is Billy Passauer. This is a "majordomo" list, so subscribing and unscribing needs to be done manually. However....you can try the forms on the Heart Bandits pages to join/unjoin if you like.....these sometimes don't work, but sometimes do, so feel free to give it a try.

Eskie-Rescue email list: This is an eskie rescue specific list started in early 1999. Though initial rescue posts can be made to some of the other lists, this list is to maintain the "rescue" and "railroad" discussions so that it doesn't clog up the other list(s). This is also a "majordomo" list, so joining/unjoining needs to be done manually. List administrator is Ed Williams.

PeskiPix list: This is a list for those who love pictures of eskies to see and exchange pictures. Bear in mind that pictures can add to the size of an email note. However....if you love seeing eskie pictures, this is a great resource. Maintained by John Tewksbury, there is also a PeskiPix homepage, with some eskie pix archived as well as PeskiPic of the week. Great stuff if you like eskie pictures(and who doesn't???). Either email John or check out the PeskiPix homepage for further information.

EskieLovers Email List: This is a list for "Eskie Lovers", or in other other words, eskie enthusiasts. Apparently a "friendly" and low volume list, this does have some "rules" and guidelines. It is also available in "digest" form. This is a "OneList" list, so you need to join via the OneList web site, which is at "OneList.com". You can also do a search on their site for "eskie", "eskies" or "american eskimo dog" to try to find the AED related lists. Eskie Exhibitors list: This list is for those who are showing their eskies or interested in learning more about showing their eskies. Show circuits, grooming thoughts, etc. are common discussions here. A low volume, specific topic list. This is also a "OneList" list so you will need to goto either the main OneList site or the list's specific pages to learn more and/or join. Click here to goto the information page for the list.

Eskies at OneList: This is a general eskie list also on OneList. Not sure if this one is very active anymore, but you might want to check it out. Again, as with all Onelist lists, you can either do a search at the OneList site for "eskie" or related terms or use this link to access the Eskies list page at Onelist.
