Welcome to the Full Size Jeeps Site Ring Page!

Welcome to this "Full-Size Jeep" Site Ring Page!

This page is the "Homepage" for this site ring! Below, you'll find information about the ring, and also how to navigate and join the ring!

This Full Size Jeeps Site Ring was setup to continue to unite the many FSJ related sites on the net(or world wide web as many call it). The "other" main FSJ ring was setup on the old Webring.org system, but with the recent takeover of Webring.org by Yahoo, we have been considering alternative ring sources. Fortunately, RingSurf offers a similar service and does a good job, while NOT being a part of the Yahoo Empire! Thus, this ring is another FSJ resource to bring FSJ sites on the net together(while remaining as Yahoo-free as possible!). Ok...enough about the reason for setting up the ring.

This "ring" is for FSJ related sites. FSJ(Full Size Jeeps) included the original Wagoneer, Gladiator pickups(later just J-series trucks), 74-83 Cherokee, 84-91 Grand Wagoneer, and the military versions M715/M724/M725/M726 models. These Full Size Jeeps were produced between 1962 and 1992(
note, some early '63s came out in late '62, and there were a very few 1992 Grand Wagoneers built....though the GWs were officially considered last built in '91!). We don't expect sites to be "exclusively" FSJ, just that you have some reasonably decent amount of FSJ content. Whether it is a single page about your first FSJ, or a whole slew of pages about FSJs, we are interested in making this a great trail of FSJ related sites on the net!

We are in the process of setting up the ring details, so please either check back in a day or so, or feel free to write us here at Eskie Pages and we'll do our best to help you with any questions you may have! Thanks, and we hope you'll join us and help develop this site and community as we continue down the FSJ trails!

OK.....To Navigate the Ring: click on the "Next" link to goto the next link in the ring. "Previous" for previous link. "List Sites" to see all the current sites in the ring. "Random" to goto a random site in the ring(not necessarily in order)....this can add a little variety if you like to surf rings! "Join" link brings you to this page to join the ring! You may also click on the "title " which will bring you to our main ring page at RingSurf. The site's "manager" link is a clickable email link to the individual or group whose site you are on at the time!

Code for Ring Display #2 follows. This display allows you to add your own FSJ image to the right side of the display.....that gives your display a little extra personality if you wish! Please copy and paste the code into your page. Replace the following items as noted! Replace "***SITE ID*** with the # given to you in your queue notice(there are 2 instances of this in the code!)! Replace ***SITE EMAIL*** with your email address. Replace ***SITE TITLE*** with your name(or site's name if you have one....whatever you like best...we used "Eskie Pages" as you can see!). Also......copy the FSJ-site_ring image to your own server(space) and replace the image location with your own(common courtesy!). That should get the code in your page! Add your OWN FSJ image to the cell in the table on the right! Replace ***YOUR IMAGE HERE*** with the URL for your image and adjust the pixel sizes to the size of your image! So you know what will fit best, the FSJ Site Ring image is 100x100 pixels. The J10 image displayed above in display #2 is 139 wide by 80 tall(in pixels!). Try to keep in in that range....or at least so it looks reasonable!

As a side note to the two displays above, we'd like to add that these are just the first two we have come up with. We may change and/or add to these in the future. If anyone has any really cool ideas for the ring display, do let us know. Also, if you need to make a couple minor adjustments to the display table when you set it up on your page(s), please note that we will not mind as long as the pertinent information remains(all the links and the FSJ-site ring image!), AND that it retains the essential "look and feel" of the displays we have drawn up already. If you have any questions, feel free to email us before or after joining the queue! Thanks!

OK.....once you have the images saved, and have your FSJ-related page(s) ready, fill in the form below. This just asks basic questions, and once filled out, you will receive an email note welcoming you to the "queue" and sending you the code you need to paste into your designated page. Please follow the directions you receive "exactly". You should replace the "image" source with your own location.......we keep our location as default and for backup purposes, but please adjust the coding so it uses your own location of the same image(which you've already saved, of course!). Ok.....place the coding you receive in your page, make the few adjustments noted. Note that the page you place the ring code on MUST be the same as the page you list in the form below(that way everyone gets to it and then can enjoy the rest of your site from there!). Also...PLEASE, PLEASE set your page up immediately so that we can check on it when we get the "queue" notice! You can send us a direct email when you've completed the code insertion and have your page "ready" for checking....this will help us a lot! You will placed in the "queue", or "waiting line" and once we've checked your page to see that you fit the ring's description(FSJ related!), AND that you have put the code in properly, we'll add you officially to the ring. You'll be notified once again when this happens. Please give us a week to 10 days once you've setup the pages and joined the "queue" to validate the submission. If you have NOT heard from us after this time frame, please write to us directly and we'll address the issue(write to us at pages@eskie.net ). Also...write to us if you have any questions on the ring, ring graphics, joining, or whatever! Thanks.....and do enjoy!
