The mind turns more fluid with age, kind of like a rotten melon. Ah yes, how true, how true. Though I might be considered young by many, I have certainly seen many aspects of aging in my own time. And, of course, as we get older, our minds get more and more full of things to remember and know. Unlike when I was 16 and could remember a whole slew of details, including lots of irrelevent things, a decade later and life is very different. Now, it's walking into a room and trying to remember why you were going there. It's "doing the math" when someone asks you how old you are(because you sure don't keep track of that stuff anymore!). It's completely forgetting something that happened a short bit ago. Yes, we do get more experienced and can do things at 30 or 40 much more efficiently and effectively than we did at 18, BUT, we also realize that our minds are all the more "fluid" as well. Fortunately, many of us take it in stride and enjoy our forgetfulness, and other follies. Life can be fun if we enjoy our youth while we're young, but never forget to be "youthful" ALL our lives! Now, I just need to remember to send in for my subscription to "Modern Senility". The AnectNotables chapters: A - B - C - D - E - F - G - H - I - J - K - L
