What would a set of Jeep related pages be without some reference to the OTHER independent of the era: International!?!?!

International made light-duty trucks from early in the century up until 1980. They then reverted to concentrating on heavy duty trucks. Unfortunately, this meant changes, and eventually the end of the old trucks that many have loved. International pickups were usually pretty plain jane, especially the last design of '69-75 era. Below is a picture of a nice '74 pickup. Plain and boxy.....but gutsy and practical.

The last "boxy" full size design was played off the successful "Scout" design of the 60s. Scout, and the variations of it, lasted until the 1980 model year. The full size trucks and Travelalls were last produced for the 1975 model year. Below is a 1973 Travelall. Bland coloring, boxy, plain jane styling.....what more could you ask for???

With AMC and International as the last of the "independents" AND both makers of full size trucks and SUVs, there is often a common bond for old FSJ and IH folks!
